Uniform
School Uniform Policy
Children entering Elton Primary School are encouraged to wear the school uniform. We believe it encourages a sense of pride and establishes a standard of suitable dress. The school uniform is based on the school colours of maroon, white, grey and black.
Our uniform is as follows:
* Maroon sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo (Required)
* White polo shirt with school logo
* White shirt/ blouse
* Grey trousers
* Grey skirt or pinafore
* Pink or red gingham dress (summer term only)
The P.E uniform consists of a pair of plimsolls, white shorts and a white t-shirt. We like all children to have a PE bag for their sports equipment, which will remain in school.
Key Stage 2 children require a selection of warmer outdoor clothes for games. Trainers and/ or football boots are needed as appropriate footwear for use during these lessons. Track suits are useful during cold weather.
Ordering School Uniform
I am pleased to announce that after careful consideration the school has decided to appoint 2 new suppliers of school uniform. Elton Primary School has a uniform because we believe that it is important in nurturing a sense of pride in the school and in developing childrens’ confidence.
We have teamed up with my School Style Ltd who have created a secure on-line school shop for us, along with Uniformity Clothing Ltd, based in Ellesmere Port.
These arrangements will allow you to shop at your convenience, at any time, including school holidays, to buy any of our school uniform items. All items from my School Style will be delivered directly to your home (or work address) in around 5 days. Items from Uniformity will be available to click and collect from the shop or delivered to your home for a small fee, as well as a free delivery service to school during term time.
We have selected garments from recognised schoolwear brands that fit within the existing school uniform guidelines and which we believe offer good quality and value for money. In addition to our approved uniform garments the sites also provides the opportunity to buy a range of other suitable garments and accessories.
For maximum flexibility, School Style will accept payment by all major credit and debit cards on-line, by credit card over the phone or by cheque. Their website uses the latest security and encryption technology to ensure that your shopping is not only convenient but also safe. To help spread the cost, Uniformity also offer £5 saving vouchers which are available in store.
