Family Partnership

What is Family Partnersip?

At Elton Primary School, we aim to provide an ethos in which teachers and parents are encouraged to support each other in the education of the pupils within our care.

We aim to welcome parents to join in the work and life of the school as partners, helping us to promote the school's aims.

We want to build upon the work that parents have done with their children and to enable them to continue to support the learning process both in and out of school.

We want to share with parents a clear and accurate picture of their child's progress and achievement.

Please click on the below pdf to read the assessors report on how Elton Primary has achieved this award.

Adult Learning

We support our parents and the local community by offering a selection of adult learning courses which are available to all throughout the academic year. Courses range from family finance, budgeting money, dealing with debt through to ICT and getting up to speed with the latest technology.

All courses provide every adult with opportunity to take their studies further and guidance and support is given when applying for college courses.

To check availability of what's available please do give the school office a call on 01244 981170.

Who do I speak with regarding Family Partnership?

Elton Primary School has a designated senior member of the team - Mrs Victoria Carr, Headteacher who takes lead responsibility for all family partnership working. Mrs Carr is the first point of contact if you wish to raise any queries relating to how the school works in partnership with the families in it's community.

Mrs Carr can be contacted at school by coming to the school office or calling: 01244 981170
